My Review: The Edge of Never By. J.A. Redmerski

*Warning: I have already read the books I am covering, any and all posts may and do contain spoilers.

“Coincidence is just the conformist term for fate.”

I am having some mixed emotions on this post. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. My mixed emotions are that I am way too excited to write about E of N to wait but I feel like once I finish this post it’s kind of over and that is totally sad.  I first read this book quite some time ago and have since re-read it a couple of times. I said in my about me section that I stumbled upon the romance genre by accident and E of N was the book that cemented by addiction. The book has everything you could ever want; adventure, secrets, sex, and one of my all time favorite book boyfriends-Andrew!!

I love the whole concept of the book, that Camryn is just over “normal” life and jumps on a bus to have experiences. I always love a book with dual P.O.V.’s and the way Redmerski does it in E of N is great, you get to see both sides of the story, especially early on, in the bus before they really know each other. You see Andrew’s calculated reasons for why he does the things he does and see how he was protecting and watching over her from the beginning.

“…There’s always, always a single shoe on the shoulder somewhere. What is it with the shoes?” Come on, you know this is true and you have wondered it yourself.

Cam is a girl after my own heart. She doesn’t want to live life by the rules, wants to see the world, loves a good messy side braid, and loves Pink and The Civil Wars. I am totally on the same page with all of that.

Andrew Parrish is the ultimate book boyfriend! He’s got tattoos, plays guitar and sings, loves classic rock, and cried watching the notebook and admits it. What more could you want?! He helps Cam find herself in general and sexually.

Time for some girl talk! Girls… we’ve all had or have that friend, right? She’ll do anything for you but the two of you are just so different and you don’t see eye to eye on almost anything. She doesn’t take criticism well and denial is her best friend. I don’t know about you but I am totally relating here. I’ve known that girl; I’ve been friends with that girl! And this is how I see the relationship between Camryn and her best friend Natalie.

*BIG SPOILER IN THIS PARAGRAPH*
Andrew has an “out of the box” life philosophy because of his brain tumor and Cam has her life philosophy because she feels like she is dead on the inside. Together their philosophies make them perfect for one another and they found each other at the perfect time on a road to nowhere.

“If you were to let me fuck you, you would have to let me own you.” Um… Goose bumps: Check. Yup, got them. “I belong to you, Andrew Parrish… I want you to own me.” There go those goose bumps again.

Did you love The edge of Never as much as I did, did you hate it? Agree or disagree with something I have written about? Leave a comment, let me know, let’s get a conversation started!!
