Review
The gangs all back; Rhett (The wild ladies man who finally gave his heart), Finlay (who despite her struggles with anxiety managed to tame Rhett), Dray (A fighter with a pension for sticky situations, a wild appetite, and shh, don’t tell the other guys, but my personal favorite), Cassie (the artistic photographer, assistant at Freefall and the woman constantly bailing the previously mentioned sexy fighter out of messes), Clutch (The Viking, car mogul with a draw to a certain young red-head trouble maker, and Taylor (Clutch’s guilty trouble maker). That’s everyone right? Hell no! We have our original Custom Culture meant-to-be couple, Nix Pierce and Scotlyn James.  This group of characters forms a rowdy group, of friends, lovers, family that we have all grown to adore through the Custom Culture Series and now we finish it off with The Wedding. I could not wait to see what Tess had in store for them and now that I have I am feeling a little bittersweet about it. It was more than I expected but I am also sad to say goodbye to these characters and their stories.

In my opinion and I’m sure yours, Nix and Scotlyn belong together.  Fate, kismet, destiny, something worked to make these two find each other. They have become family to one another. Scotlyn grounds and centers Nix while he hears and understand her even when she isn’t saying what she feels.  They each found the perfect characteristics in each other for what they needed in the next stage of their lives.

Now that each member in the group has found their other half, in The Wedding we get to see how they all interact together. How the girls become like sisters and how the guys would do anything for each other and for the ones their boys love. Together these men really are like a bunch of sexy clowns and the girls are like sisters I never had.

Even though this is about the happily ever after, it isn’t without it’s drama and setbacks. Scotlyn has her hesitations and a series of events causes Nix and Scotty to a place the two of them have never navigated before before, steered by miscommunication and a slight waiver in trust. But hey, I think we can place a safe bet these two end up in a better place, it’s called The Wedding! Another one of our couples goes through some growing pains too. Every relationship has it’s ups and downs, that’s life.

The Wedding was everything it should have been and more; intimate but glamorous and so full of love. The gang each played their special part in being apart of the ceremony. Nix and Scotlyn dedicated themselves to each other in a beautiful, happy crying, emotional ceremony after everything they have been through. This was exactly what this series needed.

This is book 5 in a series and the wrap up. Each book before it brings us the story of the couples I summarized in the beginning. If you haven’t read this series at all then, you’re missing out and I strongly suggest you go click over to your book provider’s page and Start of on Freefall.
