*Blogger Note: I read this series all at once and did not do my reviews before I finished the whole series (Which I hate and is not standard for me) so there is a possibility of errors in my review, mixing up books. Also if you have not read book 1 there is spoilers from the review of book 2.

the story continues with book 2, A Tragic Wreck from the Beautiful Mess Series
by T.K. Leigh. By now you must be invested; Alexander has won your heart,
Olivia has got you feeling emotional, and you are wondering if you have all the
pieces to the secretive and mysterious puzzle yet, that is the Beautiful Mess
Series. Well I am here to tell you… baby, we’re just getting started!
We
pick up where book 1 ended and things really are a mess. Olivia is in Florida
running from what scares her; the secrets her mind has hidden from her and
loving Alexander. Alexander is left to cope with Olivia’s tendency to run while
he tries to find out where she is and if she is safe.
It’s
Alex’s mission to keep Olivia safe. Even if I don’t agree with him on keeping
her in the dark, it is 100% apparent that he loves her and just can’t stand to
lose her again. His goal is to keep her safe and to help her find her
happiness, even if it’s not with him. I
would be MORE than willing to let Alex keep me safe and make me happy… again
and again and again (if you know what I mean).
Olivia
is still navigating the waters trying to find answers and her happy place. Her
relationship with Alex confuses her because she’s not sure what scares her
more, staying with him or loosing him. Some pieces are beginning to come
together from the memories Olivia had lost, she starts to have more triggers
that are giving her moments where she wonders; Was this real or a dream? Have I
been here before? If Alex doesn’t share the secret soon, she is bound to put
the pieces together herself.
The
bad guys are getting frustrated and they seem to be recruiting people to the
dark side. They don’t seem to be letting things go and it’s a recipe for
disaster for Olivia and the people in her life. The risks and dangers are
becoming greater. Not only does she have to worry about the people who are
after her but now also the plastic, bimbo Barbie from Alex’s (and her own) past,
that is Adele. She is a whole other whinny, attention-seeking pain in the ass.
As
I said earlier, Olivia finds herself in Florida where she meets Cameron. He’s
comforting, easy, and a great person. But I think anyone reading this series is
Team Burnham. But does that mean Olivia will end up with him? Poor Cam has no
idea what he has got himself into when he speaks to the sad girl on her deck.
He has unknowingly walked into a beautiful, tragic, chaotic messy wreck of a
situation; with Olivia’s emotional state, his chances of winning Olivia’s
heart, and because of the strings being pulled by bad guys behind the scenes.
Good luck buddy, I think you’re going to need it!
Sounds
like a great plot, right? NO, it’s not! It’s so much more. This series is a
supremely creative need to read beautiful, tragic, chaotic mess! It you have
