My Review - Forever Too Far - by Abbi Glines

*Warning: I have already read the books I am covering, any and all posts may and do contain spoilers.

Abbi, Abbi, Abbi, an author I adore and the whole Too Far story is beautiful. Each character has depth and a profound story of their own. Rush is easy to fall in love with and Blaire is the girl every girl wants standing by her side, as a friend. Forever Too Far is a series filled with drama, secrets, love, and friendship. One of my favorites in fact, and one that helped cement my love of the romance community.

Blaire grew into her inner strength and finally got some good in her life. She now has her father back, friends, a home, stability, and most important; Rush and Nathan. I, for one, couldn’t be happier for a character that has survived so much to finally get her happily ever after.

Rush-
“Good. I’m trying my hardest to get you so wrapped up in me you’ll never leave.”

Rush has finally proven to Blaire that she comes first and he does so by lots of sexy words, multiple orgasms, love letters, a love song, and his actions showing Blaire his family will not tare them apart.

Rush-
“We can step into that office right there, and I’ll slip my hand up this cute little dress you’re wearing and play with your wet pussy until you have to bite my shoulder to keep from crying out. Won’t take long. I don’t want my girl needing me. I want her satisfied.”

We see a beautiful wedding where Rush puts every ounce of energy into making the day perfect for Blaire. He thinks of everything for her and brought tears to my own eyes with his love letters, incorporating Blaire’s love ones, and the piece of satin nightgown from Blaire’s mom.

Rush-
I never imagined anyone like you, Blaire. But every time I think about forever with you, I’m humbled that you chose me.

Abe-
“You deserve to be number one. You’ve been through too much shit, thanks to me, and it’s time a man made you feel like you’re the most important person in his world. It isn’t selfish. It’s normal. That sister of his uses the fact that she was deprived of a father as her excuse to be a raging spoiled bitch. You were handed an even shittier deal. You lost your sister, your father, and your mother. You’ve had more pain than that girl could ever understand, yet you still love. You still forgive, and you’re strong. You’ll be an incredible mother and wife.”

Well said and well done Abe. Even though Abe’s actions while Blaire was growing up were inexcusable, we now get to understand a little about the reasons behind his actions; and Abe gets to redeem himself a little in the reader’s eye. He doesn’t get a do over with his family, but he gets to repair his relationship with Blaire and show her he can be there for her when she needs him.

I can’t say enough good things about Abbi Glines, Rush and Blaire, and the full Rosemary Beach series. It is a popular series so I am sure a lot of you reading this have read it too, but if not – What are you waiting for, a written invitation? Well here –

Dear Reader,
I formally invite you to click on another browser tab, pull up your book provider of choice and go grab book 1, to start the series, and continue on. Rush will make your knees weak and Blaire will inspire you, plus there is a host of other swoon worthy guys to complete the series as well.

Yours truly,

Jenn S. Raunch
